On Saturday, April 26th our 8th Annual Bark in the Park was held at New Quarter Park in Williamsburg. Over 700 people attended our wonderful event this year. Walkers and sponsors this year raised a large amount of money for our needy animals at the Shelter. We extend our thanks to all Sponsors, Rescue Groups, vendors, walkers, and volunteers. Walk participants were able to browse through the festival booths and learn about the dedicated work of local and regional animal Rescue groups. Vendors offered food for dogs and humans, fun animal related items and offered some fun give-a-ways for our Walkers. This year, with great success, we added a "Cake/Dog Cookie walk" and we look forward to more fun and games next year! Mark your calendars for April 25, 2009 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at New Quarter Park in Williamsburg! SPAY DAY USA 2008Do If For Love~ Spay and Neuter! February 28th was SPAY DAY.
