Trained volunteers are the heart of the HHS. We greatly appreciate your time and effort to help us to offer a safe, loving environment for each of our animals waiting for their new home. Thank you for believing in what we do and for your part in making it possible.
If you have any further questions, please call 208-0382 to speak to Ruthann McDermott or click here to send an email.

Other Volunteer Opportunities:
Heritage Humane Society Auxiliary Events
Join the Heritage Humane Society Auxiliary. We meet at the Port Anne Clubhouse at 10 a.m. the
second Wednesday of each month. The public is encouraged to attend. For information, please
call 757-221-0150.
Williamsburg Antique Mall Booth
A booth at the Williamsburg Antique Mall was offered to us without charge in return for our members
donating time on Fridays to help
out at the front desk. This group collects
donations, prices them and
sets up displays
in the booth. Help is needed particularly with
the front desk work. If you have items
to
donate, please contact Christie Chipps Peters at
757-221-0910 or submit your information and
questions on our contact us page .
